SUP Boards »Standard SUP Boards
A SUP board does not have to cost a fortune. These models in the range of 500 € to 1000 € are aimed especially at beginners and advanced. Compared to cheaper SUP boards, these boards can be expected to provide better stability, lighter construction and performance. The boards of the standard class are also often more durable.
Nearly all manufacturers are represented in this price segment. Only the latest models from brand manufacturers such as Fanatic, Naish or Mistral are initially offered at higher prices.
My favorites
In the middle class you will find really good boards. Many of these boards are not designed primarily for beginners, but often great for touring and therefore „grow“ very well with their own skills. My favorite mid-range SUP boards include:

2019 is a great year to enter Stand Up Paddling. Sure the summer will be just as great as last year. And the selection of boards has never been so great!
My favorites for this SUP season are:
- For newcomers without accessories: WOWSEA AN17 305cm (quality, low priced complete set)
- For families: Skinfox Whale * (large board with space for several people)
- For experienced paddlers: Bluefin Cruise 330 cm / 365 cm (wonderful Touring Board)
